This workshops explores the art of relaxing into a meditative state.
Relaxation is essential for the health of our entire nervous system. Being relaxed promotes glandular changes, helps muscles release, balances emotions, eases stress, and brings the body’s rhythms toward their naturally calm state.
Broaden your scope and understanding of relaxation and meditation through techniques that release tension in the muscles and joints which relieves our minds neurotic patterns. We will use the well defined tools of Kundalini Yoga to gain experience and knowledge through :
- Bringing awareness to unconscious distress
- Recognising the waves of boredom that arise in the early stages of a meditative practice
- Overcoming the irritation of being still
- Learning to focus the mind through breathing
- Using mantra to convert frustration to optimism
